About TransVida Health

TransVida Health is a specialty medical transportation company serving patients across Puerto Rico. We move people to the care that keeps them alive -- dialysis, oncology infusion, post-surgical follow-up -- on schedules that do not forgive lateness.

We are early, deliberately so. The operating model, the fleet strategy and the technology are being built now, and the executives who join at this stage will shape them rather than inherit them.

Role mission

The Healthcare / Compliance Executive will own TransVida Health's regulatory standing: the compliance framework, credentialing, patient information protection, documentation and billing integrity, and audit readiness.

This role exists because a specialty medical transportation company that bills government and managed-care payers cannot treat compliance as an administrative afterthought. It reports directly to the Founder/CEO for that reason.

What the work looks like

  • Establish the compliance framework for non-emergency medical transportation.
  • Own credentialing standards for personnel and vehicles, and the evidence behind them.
  • Protect patient information across every system and every crew interaction.
  • Define documentation and billing controls, and monitor adherence to them.
  • Prepare for and manage audits, investigations and payer reviews.
  • Build a compliance culture that survives growth and turnover.

Expected outcomes

First 90 days
A clear-eyed risk assessment, immediate gaps closed, and escalation paths that actually work.
Six months
A documented compliance framework with monitoring, training and credentialing in force.
Twelve months
Audit-ready operations and evidence that the culture has changed.

What we're looking for

  • Compliance leadership in Medicaid, Medicare or managed-care environments.
  • Direct experience with documentation and billing integrity, not policy authorship alone.
  • Investigation and audit experience, including findings you had to deliver upward.
  • Ability to hold a line while the business is under commercial pressure.

NEMT or transportation compliance experience is a strong advantage. Puerto Rico regulatory familiarity is valuable but not required.

How the process works

This is a structured executive selection process, not a résumé screen. It runs in three stages, and TransVida leadership decides who moves between them.

  • Stage 1 — Application & executive assessment. Your background, then seven written questions: five asked of every executive, and two written for this role.
  • Stage 2 — Scenario assessment. By invitation. Real TransVida operating situations, with more context about the company, and no multiple choice.
  • Stage 3 — Finalist assessment. By invitation, following a confidentiality acknowledgment. A deeper briefing on the business, and your candid critique of it.

We are not looking for candidates who agree with us. We are looking for executives who can identify what we have wrong.
