About TransVida Health

TransVida Health is a specialty medical transportation company serving patients across Puerto Rico. We move people to the care that keeps them alive -- dialysis, oncology infusion, post-surgical follow-up -- on schedules that do not forgive lateness.

We are early, deliberately so. The operating model, the fleet strategy and the technology are being built now, and the executives who join at this stage will shape them rather than inherit them.

Role mission

The Chief Financial Officer will own TransVida Health's financial architecture: cash management, forecasting, capital structure, payer reimbursement cycles, fleet financing and the reporting leadership runs the business on.

The CFO will work directly with the Founder/CEO and will be expected to build the financial discipline a capital-intensive, reimbursement-funded operation needs before it scales -- not after.

What the work looks like

  • Own cash forecasting, working capital and the reporting cadence leadership decides on.
  • Manage the reimbursement cycle and the receivable position it creates.
  • Build the financial model behind fleet expansion and market entry.
  • Evaluate debt, equipment financing and equity, and recommend the structure.
  • Establish internal controls proportionate to the stage of the company.
  • Prepare TransVida for lender and institutional diligence.

Expected outcomes

First 90 days
A trustworthy cash forecast, a clear picture of the receivable position, and reporting leadership can act on.
Six months
Controls, close discipline and a financial model that supports fleet and market decisions.
Twelve months
TransVida positioned to raise or borrow on credible, diligence-ready numbers.

What we're looking for

  • Senior finance leadership in a capital-intensive or reimbursement-funded business.
  • Direct ownership of cash forecasting under real constraint, not just reporting on it.
  • Experience financing physical assets -- fleet, equipment or facilities.
  • Comfort building the function rather than inheriting a finance department.

Healthcare reimbursement experience is a strong advantage. Puerto Rico or US territory experience is useful but not required.

How the process works

This is a structured executive selection process, not a résumé screen. It runs in three stages, and TransVida leadership decides who moves between them.

  • Stage 1 — Application & executive assessment. Your background, then seven written questions: five asked of every executive, and two written for this role.
  • Stage 2 — Scenario assessment. By invitation. Real TransVida operating situations, with more context about the company, and no multiple choice.
  • Stage 3 — Finalist assessment. By invitation, following a confidentiality acknowledgment. A deeper briefing on the business, and your candid critique of it.

We are not looking for candidates who agree with us. We are looking for executives who can identify what we have wrong.
